FIB cross-sectioning and imaging of Ni powders.  In both cases the powders were sprinkled on conductive carbon tape and any excess was blown off.  No coating, embedding, etc. of the powder is required.  FIB sectioning is quick and FIB imaging in electron mode reveals the internal grain structure as it relates to the outer morphology.
